Terra Nera—famously known as Gabriel’s restaurant from Emily in Paris—is definitely a fun spot to visit. It was quite busy, with many people stopping by just for photos. The staff were very generous and even accommodated our request for arrabbiata, which wasn’t on the menu. We tried the arrabbiata and the spicy Sicilian pasta—both sauces were fantastic. it was still among the best pasta we’ve had.
We had an excellent dinner at Terra Nera! Starting from the kindness of the waiters which were always looking after us and doing them best to make us feel cozy and relaxed. The food was excellent, in my case an excellent beef steak just to the point done on the way I’ve asked… My wife and our friend enjoyed as well! Wishing you guys to keep doing a great job hosting your guests and big kudos also to the chef, despite the place became iconic (for sure) after the TV series, the quality of food, service and place itself is above the average and the prices are very reasonable! To repeat on a next visit to Paris (PS - the tiramissu is orgasmic ;) )
We absolutely love this restaurant. This is our 2nd time here and like the 1st one, this time the food was amazing, a really italian taste since we are from Italy, everything was perfect. Recommended 100% for all the tourists. Tip: you have to come with a reservation. Thank you so much to the staff. We will come back!
Visited because I'm an Emily in Paris fan of course. The Gorgonzola Tortellini was absolutely delicious. Lovely tiramisu too. Friendly staff, and our waiter was kind and happy to recommend dishes. The restaurant has a lot of fans coming past to take photos, so be prepared to be in some!
The food was great and the waitstaff was wonderful. We had a party of 6 people and they were great at being able to seat us for dinner on a Saturday. I had the linguini with clams and muscles.
I’ve been in Paris for a few days now, and this is the only restaurant that has made us feel so genuinely welcomed! The staff is absolutely amazing, and the owner is just as wonderful. And let’s not forget the food—hands down the best Italian food in Paris! Every single dish was delicious. We traveled 45 minutes to get here, and it was beyond worth it. — xo, Melissa from Florida
I first heard about this restaurant thanks to the show Emily in Paris, so of course I couldn’t miss the chance to try it. I was half-expecting a tourist trap, but I’m happy to say I was wrong—the experience was wonderful. We went for lunch on a Friday and luckily got a table for two right away. I had the tuna steak with pasta and capers on the side, while my companion tried the tortellini carbonara. Both dishes were delicious—not the very best pasta we've ever had in Paris, but still very good. What really stood out was the service: incredibly kind and attentive, easily one of the best we’ve experienced in Paris. This charming restaurant is truly worth a visit, and we’ll definitely be coming back on future trips to the city.
Excellent italian food, good prices. The restaurant itself is very small with not too many tables but welcoming and cosy. The service was a little bit slow, otherwise everything was great.
